Boss Dd 3 In Effects Loop

The original dd 3 and dd 2 before included a forward thinking hold function which allowed you to capture a sound up to 800 ms long play it continuously and jam over the top. I just bought a boss dd 3 delay pedal and i am running it through the effects loop of my mesa single rectifier. Boss dd 3 sounds bad in my effects loop if the level of the loop is too hot for the rockman you will also notice clipping if you play clean that is what is reducing the signal.

Weird effects loop behaviour with boss dd3 delay pedal.

Boss dd 3 in effects loop. Sounds like a problem with the effects loop on that amp. An old dan echo has been in the effects loop on my blues deluxe ri for about 10 years now.
